This first shirt has several messages actually. The one I’m going with today is this though…our kids can get labeled by…everybody, but the most concerning labels for me are the ones put on them by some professionals. They are concerning because we as parents are more prone to settle on their decisions because of their professional status. I’m not saying that what a professional has to say should not be considered in several cases, what I am saying is that their word should not be your final word. After you get their word allow faith to step in and walk in that. My grandson, is now 2 yrs old. He has been given a professional and very real diagnosis that said he would not thrive. With this diagnosis, he wasn’t supposed to gain weight, grow teeth, get muscle mass, eat by mouth, or laugh, and that’s just a few things, in fact, when he was 1 his medical team reached out to Hospice and Palliative Care for our family, but today he’s doing all the things that he “shouldn’t be doing.” and more. So here’s my point…while a diagnosis may be true, that’s not the end. We say thank you for the diagnosis, now I know how to fight. God gets the final word. So if you have a child who’s been diagnosed with any type of medical anything (PANDAS, ADHD, RAD, ODD) we say thank you for that information and being to Walk in Faith Over Fear!!!
